The Royal Cricket Association (RCA) and the National Cricket Academy (NCA) are set to host their annual summer cricket coaching camps starting from April 1, 2024 at their respective grounds. According to Mohd Irfan Razzak, Secretary of RCA, the RCA’s summer camp will begin at the Mecosabagh Methodist High School Ground, Christian Colony, Kadbi Chowk. The coaching sessions, led by VCA recognized coaches and professional players, will train budding talents in various age groups from 8 to 22, grooming them for Under-13 to Under-19 matches.
To encourage girls’ participation in cricket, special discounts will be offered during the summer camp. Those interested can register by visiting the ground between 6:00 to 8:30 am and 4:30 to 7:00 pm on weekdays (Monday to Saturday). Alternatively, they may contact Razzak or Alok Tiwari for further details.
Likewise, the National Cricket Academy (NCA) will host its annual summer camp at the Gurunanak Pharmacy College ground, located near Dixit Nagar, behind CP Foundry, Kamptee Road. Interested players can reach out to Pappu or Sameer Sheikh at the ground from Monday to Saturday, between 6:00 am to 8:30 am and 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm, as stated in a press release.
