The Founder President of the People’s Welfare Society and former MLA Dr Madhukar Wasnik passed away due to old age on Wednesday morning. He was 90.
A staunch supporter of the separate Vidarbha movement, Dr Wasnik’s mortal remains will be held at his residence at ‘Ambadeep; Ramnagar, and will then be taken to PWS College. The last rites will be performed at Vaishali Nagar Ghat at 5 pm.
