Rashmi Barve Following the cancellation of her caste validity certificate, she is disqualified from Candidature for Lok Sabha and loses her ticket. Shyamkumar Barve, whose name appeared on Form B, will now contest from Ramtek as the Congress candidate.
Rasmhi Barve filed nominations on March 27 and submitted her documents. However, the District Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee issued a note to Rashmi Barve based on a complaint filed against her, stating that she had provided fraudulent documents to establish her caste.
Later, a hearing was held at the Collector’s office, where Ramtek’s Returning Officer, Tushar Thombare, heard both sides and decided to reject her nomination papers.
