The Sports Journalists Association of Nagpur (SJAN) will host its annual walkathon for media personnel on Sunday 30 March. The walkathon, having 3km and 5km events, is scheduled to commence from Annabhau Sathe Square, Deekshabhoomi, at 6 am.
The walkathon is being organized in collaboration with the Nagpur District Athletics Association. Vitthal Singh Rajput, Police Inspector of Bajaj Nagar Police Station, will officially flag off the walkathon. Notable figures like Ram Diwakar, CEO of Tirupati Urban Co-operative Bank Limited, and Dr. Sharad Suryawanshi from Nagpur University’s Department of Physical Education and Sports, will be present to distribute prizes during the ceremony.
