Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma recalled a number of amusing stories in a the episode of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ on Netflix. He discussed his interactions with other players on the pitch with comedian Kapil Sharma. Kapil also asked Ritika Sajdeh about her experience as Rohit’s manager and wife.
‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ has been aired on Netflix and in the second episode star cricketers Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer as guests.
During the show, Kapil questioned Rohit about any players who had advised him against hitting sixes during a game because their girlfriend was present at the stadium.
Rohit replied, “Yeah, of course, we have had conversations like this. But I tell them that I have my wife watching the match while your girlfriend is at the stadium. Throughout the entire match, she crosses her fingers while sitting. Thus, to me, she is more important”.
Kapil Sharma then asked questions to Ritika Sajdeh, “Is he tough to handle as a cricket player or as a husband?”. Ritika replied, “As a husband. As a captain he is managed by his team. Nothing needs to be done on my part”.
Quickly Rohit answered, “she can’t go into the dressing room or the field, I have to go inside the house she is the captain there.
