Two young women killed a young man with the help of their friends over a petty argument while smoking a cigarette. The incident took place in Mahalaxmi Nagar under Hudakeshwar Police Station. The deceased has been identified as Ranjeet Babulal Rathod (28).
Jayashree Deepak Panzare (30), Savita Yashwant Sayre (24) and Akash Dinesh Raut (25) are the accused. Ranjeet used to sell clothes and run a grocery shop. There is a Panthela of Laxman Tawde near Siddheshwar Auditorium. Ranjeet used to come there to smoke. At around 11:15 on Saturday night, he bought cigarettes from Pan shop. At that moment Jayashree is said to have come from behind and bought cigarettes from there.
While smoking, Jayashree released the smoke on Ranjeet’s mouth, which led to an argument between the two. Jayashree called his friend. Eventually, the dispute escalated to such an extent that Ranjeet was attacked and killed.
