Returning from poll campaign Patole is safe
Maharashtra Unit President of Indian National Congress Nana Patole survived a major road accident on Tuesday night. Although the vehicle was heavily damaged, Patole and other passengers in the car were not injured in the accident.
Patole was returning to his native place Sukli after completing election campaign when his car was hit by a truck from behind near Bhilwada village in Bhandara city.
Congress Spokesperson Atul Londhe suspected sabotage in the accident. He alleged Bharatiya Janata Party was behind the sabotage and demanded high level enquiry into the accident.
Patole was returning after campaigning for Maha Vikas Aghadi candidate Prashant Padole, when a truck crashed into his car. The rear portion of the car was damaged. Preliminary reports say that the truck driver probably lost control of his vehicle and hit Patole’s car.
