The development which people have observed during the last ten years is only a starter. The main course is yet to come. Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to the voters to break all voting records at all polling booths. The voting is not only to strengthen his hands but also to punish the INDI Alliance, which tried to divide the people based on caste, creed and religion.
Launching a scathing attack on the Congress party which ruled for over 60 years, Modi said that the party did not even allow Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s constitution to be implemented in the entire country. The SC, ST, and OBCs had no constitutional rights in Jammu and Kashmir. By Abrogating Article 370 the rights were restored to them in Jammu and Kashmir. Now when the BJP-led Government is granting citizenship through CAA to all, INDI Alliance is opposing it.
Mod addressed a rally for Lok Sabha constituencies of Ramtek, Nagpur and Gondia-Bhandara at Kanhan on Wednesday. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, NCP Leader Praful Patel, Maharashtra BJP Chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule and others were present on the dais.
Mod said that he is planning not only for the 2024 elections. But works 24 by 7 for 2047, the centenary year of India’s independence. He assured that the dream of people is his dream of a developed nation and welfare of all. Without naming former Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar Modi said that his government is planning to make India self-reliant in pulse and oilseed production.
Referring to abusive language used against him, his family and party Modi said that Congress is facing bankruptcy of ideas. It has divided the people for over 60 years. People belonging to SC, ST, and OBCs could not get their constitutional rights, which the Modi Government has granted. A poor mother’s son became prime minister, a tribal mother’s daughter became the President, food, tap water, toilets, irrigation, employment, and start-ups were ensured for the socially and economically deprived. With the enforcement of CAA, INDI alliance is projecting that democracy is in danger. The threat was not realised when an emergency was imposed and the poor were deprived of their rights.
Modi appealed to the people not to be misled by the false propaganda aimed at dividing society. Modi appreciated the work of Baba Jumdeo and his followers in de-addiction, paid tribute to Raje Raghuji Raje and Bakhtu Buland Shah.
Making a fervent appeal to vote in large numbers Modi said that the vote is not only for the present election. It is for the next 1,000 years of Bharat’s future.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also addressed the gathering. They listed the achievements and developmental works carried out during the last ten years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
