The National Testing Agency (NTA) has effectively conducted the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2024 Session 2 for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) from April 04 to April 09, 2024. Spanning 319 cities across the nation, with an additional 22 cities abroad, the examination attracted a substantial number of aspiring engineering students. Those who took part in the exam can now avail themselves of the provisional answer keys and question papers, along with their recorded responses, through the official website https://jeemain.nta.ac.in/.
NTA has extended an opportunity for interested candidates to challenge the provisional answer keys if they have any objections. To challenge these keys, candidates must submit their objections online and remit a non-refundable processing fee of 200 per question. The deadline for submitting challenges and making the payment is April 14, 2024, until 11:50 PM. It’s essential to note that challenges will not be considered without the receipt of the processing fee.
The procedure for challenging the answer keys involves logging in to the official website using the application number and date of birth, selecting the questions to be challenged, providing supporting documents (if any), and making the payment online through debit card, credit card, or net banking. After considering the challenges submitted by the candidates, the NTA will revise the answer keys if necessary. The final answer keys will then be used to prepare and declare the results. Candidates will not be individually notified of the acceptance or rejection of their challenges.
