A Lamborghini Gallardo, In Hyderabad worth nearly Rs 1 crore, was deliberately set on fire following a dispute. The incident, which occurred recently, was captured on camera and the video footage surfaced online on Monday.
As per reports, the supercar was set ablaze following a heated dispute between two car resellers regarding due payments owed by one party.
According to CarToq’s report, Neeraj, the owner of the Lamborghini, enlisted the help of his friends to locate a buyer. Aman Haider was among those contacted for assistance. Ahmed, another acquaintance, conveyed his interest in purchasing the vehicle to Aman. Subsequently, arrangements were made to meet at a farmhouse in Mamidipalli on the evening of April 13.
Instead of going where they planned, Aman and Hamdan went towards Hyderabad airport. But on the way, Ahmed and his friends stopped them claiming that Neeraj owed them money.
Despite efforts to calm the situation, tensions heightened, culminating in Ahmed and his associates dousing the Lamborghini with petrol and igniting it. This alarming incident was captured on video and has since circulated widely on various social media platforms.
Authorities from the Pahadi Shareef Police have registered a case in connection with the incident. However, as of now, no arrests have been made.
