The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Examination 2023 results were eagerly awaited and were unveiled on Tuesday, revealing several distinguished achievers from the city of Nagpur. Among them are Sameer Khode, Sanskar Gupta, Shubham Dongardive, Pranjali Khandekar, Suresh Borkar, and Aishwarya Ukey.
Sameer Khode secured All India Rank (AIR) 42 in his fourth attempt. He holds a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from VNIT and pursued an MBA from IIM Lucknow. Currently serving in the Indian Railway Service in Raipur, Sameer’s parents are Prakash Khode, a retired Bank Manager, and Pragya Khode, a homemaker.
Sanskar Gupta achieved AIR 629 in his fifth attempt and plans to make another attempt. He mainly relied on self-study, supplemented by coaching for test series and guidance. Sanskar graduated in Computer Science from Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM), Nagpur. His parents are Nilaksh Gupta, a businessman, and Annapurna Gupta, a homemaker.
Shubham Dongardive secured AIR 963 in his eighth attempt and aims for the Indian Administrative Services (IAS). He initially received coaching in Delhi and pursued Mechanical Engineering at St Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology. Shubham’s family includes his father Trambak Dongardive, a retired Police Officer, his mother Panchsheela Dongardive, a homemaker, and his brother Sachin Dongardive, serving as a Constable in Nagpur Police.
Pranjali Khandekar achieved AIR 761 in her third attempt. She did preparation in Delhi and graduated in Electronic Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. Her parents are Manohar Khandekar, a retired Deputy Chief Engineer from MSEB, and Heera Khandekar, a homemaker.
Suresh Borkar achieved AIR 658 in his fifth attempt. With aspirations for a career in IPS, he pursued Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Disaster Management. Suresh’s parents were both retired Teachers at Zilla Parishad School, with his father Liladhar Borkar being late.
Aishwarya Ukey achieved AIR 943 and is determined to make another attempt for IAS. After completing her Bachelor’s in Engineering, she pursued BA LLB and is currently in the final year of LLM. Aishwarya’s parents are Dadarao Ukey, a retired Bank Manager, and Kalpana Ukey, a homemaker.
