VIA Lady Entrepreneurs Wing organised a Session on ‘Social Media Secrets’ by two Eminent speakers Tejaswini Bhandarkar, Founder & Director of Teztecch and Dr Hetal Gaglani, Founder of H&A Creations.
Tejaswini shared an in-depth knowledge on various Social Media Platforms from Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube to Twitter, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc. She further explained the Do’s and Don’ts for Social Media Platforms, stressing on every Business should have its presence on Google Maps for easy access to the customers. Another important part is to have a Basic website/ Landing page of your Business/ Service and a Domain should be purchased to mark an identity on world-wide level. If you have B-B Clientele, presence on LinkedIn is beneficial, but if you have B-C Clientele, Platforms like Facebook/Instagram helps immensely.
Talking about YouTube she added that this platform is meant for public views, so posting content which adds value to viewer’s knowledge helps in increasing your positive visibility and attracting more followers for your profile. If you get 1000+ subscribers on your profile, YouTube pays for it, thus clutching an opportunity to start a new business. One of the best platforms for your voice to be heard/ to file a complaint and getting quick response from concerned authorities is Twitter.
Dr. Hetal Gaglani on the other had went raw and shared her personal journey and experience on making an IDENTITY in the world of your brand from scratch. She explained very authentic ways of growing from followers count of 1000 to 50,000 within a span of just one year. She stressed on a unique concept to ‘Humanise your Brand’ understanding the clientele, their needs & interests, and accordingly displaying your products on social media, ways of enhancing your posts to grab the attention of the viewer within ‘2-3 seconds’ so as to attract maximum engagement with the customers.
‘I also attended many sessions to learn the ways of increasing my business through social media platforms, but I found that everybody talks about WHAT should be done, nobody talks about HOW to do it’ says Hetal and that is when she went ahead and gave a live demonstration of ‘AdWords’ and various tools/ strategies to be followed to increase your brands appearance and reach out to maximum number of people across the globe.
The session was then opened to the audience for interaction with the speakers which resulted into thought-provoking questions keeping the conversation dynamic and enriching, and set as a reminder of the incredible value that comes from learning and growing together as a community.
At the outset, Rashmi Kulkarni, Chairperson, VIA LEW gave the opening remarks and welcomed Tejaswini Bhandarkar and Dr. Hetal Gaglani with floral compliments.
