The National Testing Agency (NTA) has clarified that there is no directive or guideline barring individuals who have voted in the Lok Sabha elections and have inked fingers from entering examination halls for NTA-conducted exams.
Amid circulating messages on social media suggesting that NTA has prohibited students who inked their fingers while voting from entering exam halls, NTA has debunked these claims, labeling them as baseless rumors. The agency emphasized that no such instructions have been issued, reassuring students that exercising their voting rights will not impact their eligibility to sit for examinations.
NTA is currently overseeing the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) 2024 (NEET-2024), scheduled for May 5, from 2 pm to 5.20 pm in Pen and Paper mode. Covering 557 cities within the country and 14 cities abroad, NTA advised students to access their examination city information slip for NEET 2024 by using their application number and date of birth.
It’s essential for students to note that this information slip does not serve as the admit card for NEET 2024. Rather, it provides advance details regarding the allocation of the examination city, facilitating candidates in their preparations.
