In a circular, CBSE has announced the dates for mark verification subsequent to the declaration of Class 10 and Class 12 results, expectedly after May 20. As per the CBSE circular, students dissatisfied with their results can request mark verification within the fourth to eighth days post result declaration.
The window for applying to verify your marks will remain open for five days. Scanned photocopies of the evaluated answer books will be accessible from the 19th to the 20th day after the results are announced. This service will be available for two days.
The CBSE circular states, “The assessment of answer books follows a well-established policy, incorporating multiple checks to ensure accuracy and precision. Nonetheless, post-result declaration, if students are dissatisfied with their performance as indicated by the results, CBSE offers them the chance for mark verification, access to photocopies of their assessed answer books, and subsequent re-evaluation of their answers.”
The board stated that all processes have specified timeframes and are exclusively accessible online. Requests made after the deadline or through offline means will not be entertained, as they violate important examination safety protocols. CBSE issued prior notification of the timetable to enable parents, students, and schools to utilize these services in adherence to CBSE regulations.

The students unhappy with the marks awarded can fill revaluation/rechecking form online on the official website- cbseresults.nic.in. Students can follow the given steps to apply for the same:
Step 1: Visit the official website- cbse.gov.in
Step 2: Click on ‘Apply for Revaluation’ link under ‘Examinations’ or ‘Student’ section
Step 3: Application form will open on the window, fill it with relevant details
Step 4: Follow the instructions given on the form
Step 5: Click on ‘Submit’ and pay the application fee
