In a bid to provide additional convenience to passengers during the vacation season, the railway administration has revealed plans to operate a special Summer Special Express between Pune and Balasore via Bilaspur. Details of the train schedule have been incorporated into the booking systems, allowing travelers to secure their tickets in advance and ensure a seamless journey experience.
The Summer Special Express, numbered 01451, will depart from Pune on May 18 at 11:30 hrs, reaching Bilaspur at 09:40 hrs the following day. After a brief scheduled halt of three minutes, the train will resume its journey, arriving at Balasore at 21:30 hrs the same night. On its return journey, train number 01452 will depart from Balasore on May 20 at 09:00 hrs, arriving at Bilaspur at 19:45 hrs later that evening. Following a five-minute scheduled halt, the train will proceed to Pune, reaching its destination at 19:30 hrs the next day.
Equipped with 22 coaches, the Summer Special Express will make stops at various stations along the route, including Daund, Ahmednagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusawal, Malkapur, Akola, Badnera, Nagpur, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Bhatapara, Champa, Sakti, Raigarh, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Chakradharpur, Tatanagar, and Kharagpur. This initiative aims to facilitate hassle-free travel for passengers and enhance connectivity between Pune and Balasore during the vacation period.
