Mobile phone charges are likely to be increased by about 25 per cent after the Lok Sabha elections. Telecom companies are preparing for the fourth round of tariff hikes.
According to media reports the hike could be around 25 percent. The increase in spending on telecom services is expected to rise to 3.6 per cent. For rural; subscribers this figure is anticipated to climb to 5.9 per cent from the current 5.2 per cent.
