Nagpur Metro’s security guard, Rupesh Shende, has been arrested for allegedly deceiving unemployed individuals with promises of jobs in Nagpur Mahametro and taking Rs 50,000 from his relative, Akshay Nagare. When Akshay realized he had been cheated, he complained to the police station.
In response to the incident, Nagpur Metro authorities have taken decisive action, initiating a comprehensive investigation conducted by an external agency. Statements from Rupesh Shende have been obtained as part of the inquiry, during which he confessed to accepting money from Akshay Nagare. Consequently, Shende has been suspended from his position by the contractor.”
