The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is scheduled to host its 25-day Karyakarta Vikas Varg (Dwitya) in Nagpur starting May 17. Serving as the final stage of training within the organization, this event was earlier known as the Tritiya Varsha (third year) training camp. This is the first-ever batch under the changed nomenclature. The RSS has introduced this changed nomenclature and also with a modified training structure, effective from this year onwards.
Following the conclusion of the 25-day camp, volunteers become eligible to assume greater responsibilities in the organization, as said by a source in the RSS.
The earlier names like Pratham Dwitiya and Tritya Varsha (first second and third years) have been now replaced with Pratham Varsha, Karyakarta Vikas Varg Ek and Karyakarta Vikas Varg Dwitiya. The final stage of training takes place in Nagpur where swayamsevaks from across the country come together. The other stages take place in the respective regions across the country. Parallelly, the RSS will also be holding a training camp for its volunteers from Vidarbha at Chikhli locality in the city. The volunteers will undergo physical training apart from sessions on intellectual development and understanding the RSS’ philosophy. The training will also include developing an inclination towards social service. The camp will be attended by 400 volunteers, said a press release.
In this camp, volunteers will do physical training, learn about intellectual development, and understand the philosophy of the RSS. The training will also focus on encouraging volunteers to do social work. The camp will have 400 volunteers, as mentioned in a press release.
