The Rapid Rescue Team (RRT) of Pench Reserve (PTR) in Maharashtra successfully rescued a wounded male tiger, T53, from the Deolapar wildlife range on Friday. The tiger is believed to have sustained injuries during a territorial fight. Due to the severity of T53’s condition, PTR officials decided to rescue the Tiger.
“The tiger has a deep wound on the forehead and will receive treatment for its injuries,” stated Prabhu Nath Shukla, deputy director of Pench.
