Vijay Gedam (21) lost his life, and his colleagues Rakesh Maraskolhe (37) and Ahal Nishad (55) sustained injuries after an unidentified vehicle struck their bike on Thursday evening in Hingna. The tragic incident occurred as the trio, who are laborers at an explosive factory, were heading home after work.
Hingna police have registered a case of rash driving and death due to negligence against the driver of the unidentified vehicle. The investigation is ongoing to identify and apprehend the responsible driver.
