An alarming incident has shaken the residents of Nagpur as a three-year-old child lost his life in a stray dog attack. The tragic incident occurred on Tuesday, April 21 in Mauda area, where a stray dog attacked the child causing severe injuries leading to his demise.
The child, identified as Vansh Ankush Shahane, was playing outside his home in the Ganesh Nagar area of Mauda city on Tuesday evening when the harrowing incident occurred. Witnesses reported that a stray dog roaming the streets targeted young Vansh, biting him on his leg and hand, causing grievous harm to his body.
Despite swift action from family members upon hearing his screams, family members rushed outside and managed to drive the dog away from Vansh. He was immediately transported to the rural hospital in Mauda for urgent medical attention. However, tragically, Vansh succumbed to his injuries sustained in the brutal dog attack.
This distressing event has sparked concern and panic among the local residents, highlighting the pressing issue of stray dog control in Nagpur. Over recent days, stray dogs in the vicinity have been reportedly causing havoc, attacking several individuals and instilling fear in the neighborhood.
