Preparations are being made in Kalmana Market area for the counting of votes for Nagpur and Ramtek Lok Sabha elections. The district administration is vigilant in terms of security. The district administration has so far emphasized on the arrangement.
Collector Dr. Vipin Itankar visited Kalmna Market and interacted with the traders and reviewed the inspection and security of the counting center.
In the counting of votes to be held on June 4, postal ballot will be counted initially. There will be 10 tables with 10 officials, one table for 500 ballot papers. Assistant Election Officer-Employees have been appointed for this.
120 tables for Nagpur Lok Sabha and 120 tables for Ramtek have been designed for EVM machine counting. It has also been planned so that the political representatives can see the actual vote counting process. A total of around 6000 manpower will be employed for both the Lok Sabha constituencies. The process will be conducted under the supervision of the Election Inspector, District Election Officers.
