Akola at 45.8, Nagpur 42.6 Despite Yellow alert for heavy rains in the Vidarbha region, day temperatures continued to soar. Akola again remains the hottest district in the region by recording the highest temperature at 45.8 degrees Celsius. The temperature in the region remained above 40 degrees. Nagpur recorded 42.6 degrees, higher compared to yesterday.
Brahmapuri in Chandrapur district also recorded a temperature of 45 degrees. Buldana and Gondia are lowest in the region at 41.3 and 41.8 degrees respectively. The night’s temperatures also started remaining high, compelling the residents to use water coolers and air conditioners throughout the night.
