An unidentified individual’s call to Dial 100 on Friday morning sparked panic as they reported a bomb threat at a Sitabuldi hotel. On the basis of the call, the police immediately reached the spot and started investigation. However, the police did not find any bomb.
It should be known that for the past few months, threatening messages and e-mails are coming to blow up important places in various cities of the country. E-mails threatening to bomb airports and schools of cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow had surfaced in the recent past. And on Wednesday, there were threats to blow up three hotels in Bangalore as well. However, upon investigation, all this turned out to be a rumour.
