The heat wave in the Vidarbha region continues on Tuesday with temperatures in various districts touching 45 degrees Celsius. Brahmapuri, which was the hottest on Monday with 47.1 degrees recorded 45.2 degrees on Tuesday. Chandrapur and Wardha too were sizzling at 45.2 degrees. Nagpur followed them with 44.8 degrees Celsius, 0.8 degrees lower compared to Monday.
Akola and Yavatmal, which were facing extreme heat, were relieved to some extent. Akola recorded 42.8 degrees and Yavatmal was at 43.
