The Culture Team of the Nagpur Division organized a poignant “Nukkad Natak” at Platform 1 of Nagpur Station to raise awareness about the grave issues of trespassing on railway tracks and unauthorized vending, which often lead to tragic accidents and suicides. This impact awareness program was performed by the dedicated railway staff.
The primary aim of this street play was to educate and inform all railway staff and passengers about the dangers and legal implications of crossing railway tracks without permission and the risks related to unauthorized vending activities. By disseminating this vital message, the initiative seeks to promote safer behavior and potentially save lives.
The event witnessed an impressive turnout, with nearly 200 people attending the “Nukkad Natak.”
The successful organization of this seminar was under the dynamic leadership of Divisional Railway Manager Shri Manish Agrawal and the invaluable guidance of Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Smt. Sanjhi Jain. Their vision and efforts culminated in an informative and beneficial program for all involved. The program was adeptly written, directed, and compered by Shri Sushil Kumar Tiwari, CLI, who played a crucial role in the seamless execution of this event, attended by Mr. S.L. Manwatkar, APO, Mr. G.R.Iyer, ADSO, and Mr.K.L. Khusram, Station Director/Nagpur.
