The CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI) will celebrate World Environment Day on Wednesday at 4 pm in the NEERI Auditorium. Dr. Prashant Bokare, Vice-Chancellor of Gondwana University, will be the chief guest and address the audience. CSIR-NEERI scientists will also brief the audience on their contributions to the ecological restoration of wastelands, in line with this year’s theme, ‘Our land. Our future. We are Generation Restoration.’ Additionally, a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between CSIR-NEERI and Gondwana University for joint academic and research projects.
