Nagpur Division of the Central Railways had recently concluded a massive tickets checking drive aimed at curbing ticketless, irregular travel. The drive, conducted on 10.06.2024 at Wardha Station, targeted individuals traveling without valid tickets or engaging in irregular travel practices.
During the course of this intensive operation, a total of 281 passengers were apprehended for various violations, including traveling without tickets or engaging in irregular travel practices. As a result of these detections, fines totalling Rs. 172980/- were realized from the offenders. The operation was executed with the concerted efforts of 18 ticket checking staff, along with 2 RPF staff and officers.
