Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research (Deemed to be University) has been ranked 15th in the world and 3rd in the country in UN’s Sustainable Development Goal – 3 (SDG 3- Good Health and Well-being), in World TIMES IMPACT RANKINGS 2024, thus standing committed to a vision so carefully nurtured by the Chancellor Shri DattajiMeghe, since last three decades. The University is ranked above many prestigious International Universities, depicting its Universal parlance and excellence in all domains of health care education and practice. DMIHER has also been ranked among the top 101-200 universities worldwide for SDG-4 (Quality Education) and SDG-5 (Gender Equality), achieving 7th and 4th positions in India, respectively, in its second consecutive participation in the Times Impact Rankings 2024.
The IMPACT RANKINGS are based on 17 United Nations ‘Sustainable Development Goals’ (SDGs) that determine the University’s contributions to achieve a better and more sustainable future for the world.The total participating Universities in 2024 were 2031 from 125 countries. It is ranked in 7th among ‘Medicine and Dentistry’ category in the country for its ‘Overall’ contribution in SDGs.
