Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Institute of Research and Training (BARTI), Pune, has initiated an online process to provide free coaching for non-resident SC candidates of Maharashtra appearing for JEE and NEET entrance exams.
The coaching program will accommodate 100 seats each for JEE and NEET in Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, selected based on merit, preferably from class 10th marks. The training duration is 24 months, with mandatory attendance of over 75%. Students will receive a stipend of Rs 6,000, and eligible candidates will get Rs 5,000 for purchasing books. Candidates must have enrolled in the Class XI Science stream and hold Scheduled Caste and Maharashtra Domicile certificates. Family income should be around 8 lakhs annually. Disabled students (with over 40% disability) need to submit a certified disability certificate.
Reservation includes 30% for women, 5% for Persons with Disabilities (PWD), 1% for orphans, and 5% for underprivileged candidates in the pre-coaching for JEE and NEET entrance exams.
