Now Maha Metro launches new WhatsApp ticket system. Today Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari launched new WhatsApp ticket system.
Every day 40 percent of metro passengers use various options including mobile app, online payment and Maha card, which has now increased further through WhatsApp ticket system. Maha Metro has encouraged the use of digital medium for buying tickets. So far more than 85 thousand citizens have received Maha cards. On an average 100 Maha cards are being purchased every day, Along with this, QR code is being used extensively for making payments.
Along with this, 30% discount has been given on metro travel on two days of the weekend, Saturday and Sunday. Along with this, 30% discount is also being given to metro passengers on gazetted holidays.
How to book metro ticket through WhatsApp:
- You will find QR codes at all Nagpur Metro stations, scan the QR code or send “Hi” to +918624888568.
- Once you scan the QR code you will be directed to the official WhatsApp account.
- Say “Hi” to receive the link.
- Click on “Book Now” and your booking link will open.
- You can choose from where you want to travel from the list of stations given. You can also choose your destination from the list of stations given below.
- To save time you can choose your preferred payment method by selecting “OnlinePay”. If you want to pay through debit card you can explore other payment options or continue choosing UPI payment to make your payment. • Click on “Pay Now” to access multiple payment application options, you can complete your payment through any payment application of your choice.
- Once the payment is complete, you will receive a ticket with a QR code on WhatsApp, which you can scan at the gate to enter. It’s easy, fast and convenient.
