Amidst controversy surrounding the NEET-UG results, another dispute has arisen regarding the MHT-CET results. Parents have raised concerns about discrepancies in the marks awarded to students, based on the answer key and percentile calculations.
The marks based on the answer key were published on the CET-Cell website on Sunday, prior to the announcement of the CET results. Some students, who had saved screenshots of the answer key, complained that the marks they received did not correspond to the percentiles they expected.
For instance, a student who scored 60 marks plus eight grace marks expected a total of around 68 marks. The student anticipated achieving a percentile between 30 to 60 out of 200 marks. However, the student expressed shock upon discovering that they had only attained a percentile of five.
