A young man, Ajay Shyam Giri (20, Sadbhavna Nagar), died from an electric shock while switching on a cooler at home around 11:30 pm on June 12. The incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Nandanvan police station.
As soon as he suffered the shock, he fell and fainted. His family rushed him to the Government Medical College and Hospital for treatment, but he died on Monday evening. A case of accidental death has been registered at Nandanvan police station.
