The South East Central Railway (SECR) car met with an accident near Warora while returning to Nagpur from Chandrapur ‘s Chanda Fort railway station. Surendra Singh, who was posted at Motibagh PRS of commercial department, died on the spot.
Driver Venkatrao Baba & staff member Bablu Dongre were injured in this accident. The injured is undergoing treatment at Kingsway Hospital in Nagpur.
As per the central government’s policy, all government vehicles older than 15 years are to be scrapped. The SECR vehicle in the accident was older than 15 years.
