In a commanding performance at the Subroto Mukherjee Inter-School (rural) Girls Football Tournament, Delhi Public School overwhelmed School of Scholars, Beltarodi with a resounding 6-0 victory. The match, held at the Divisional Sports Complex ground and organized by the District Sports Office (DSO), showcased Tanvi Meena’s exceptional skill as she scored three goals in quick succession—finding the net in the 1st, 3rd, and 11th minutes of the game.
Tanvi’s stellar performance was complemented by Ayesha Parveen, who contributed with goals in the 7th and 22nd minutes, and Anisha Singh, scoring in the 18th minute. The cohesive teamwork of Delhi Public School ensured their dominance throughout the match.
In other matches of the tournament, BVM Ashti secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Jain International School, courtesy of Mushka Tayde’s crucial goal in the 19th minute. Meanwhile, Delhi Public School Lava triumphed over Podar International, Godhni with a convincing 4-0 win, led by Vishwashree’s hat-trick of goals in the 5th, 15th, and 18th minutes, supported by Arya Thakre’s goal in the 15th minute.
Additionally, Pragatik Vidyalaya Koradi delivered a commanding performance, thrashing K John Public School in another match of the tournament.
