Overall Health: Oral health is closely linked to overall health. Poor oral hygiene can lead to infections, which may spread to other parts of the body. Good oral health contributes to a child’s self-esteem and confidence. A healthy smile can positively impact their social interactions and self-image. Dental pain and discomfort can distract children from their studies, affecting their academic performance. Preventative care ensures they can focus on their education without such hindrances.Students won many prizes by participating in health related question and answers.
Apart from oral health, menstrual health education is essential too. Many young girls lack proper knowledge about menstrual health. Such workshops can provide vital information about menstruation, helping to dispel myths and reduce stigma.
Access to Sanitary Products is necessary. Providing sanitary pads ensures that girls who might not afford them can maintain proper hygiene, preventing infections and other health issues. Lack of access to sanitary products often leads to girls missing school during their periods. By providing these essentials, the workshop helps in improving their attendance and educational continuity. Educating girls about menstrual health and providing them with the necessary products can empower them, boosting their confidence and helping them manage their periods with dignity.
