Due to a technical fault related to OHE (Over Head Equipment) near Sitabuldi Interchange metro station of Nagpur Metro, service on that route was suspended between 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm on friday. Passengers of Nagpur Metro were inconvenienced as the service stopped due to a technical glitch. As a result, services on the Maro route between Khapri and Automotive Chowk were affected. Metro officials immediately took steps after realizing the malfunction.
A catenary maintenance vehicle from MIHAN Depot reached the site of failure and started work on it. Metro services on the Down route were restored within an hour and then on the Up route at around 8 am. By around 8.20 pm, metro services on both the Up and Down lines were restored. Maha Metro Nagpur apologizes for the inconvenience caused to passengers.
