The Rotary Club of Nagpur Ishanya has earned a spot in the India Book of Records with their heartwarming initiative, Project Muskaan. On December 17, 2023, the club organized a full day of fun activities for largest ever No. of specially-abled and underprivileged children at Fun Planet Water Park, an event that marked a significant milestone in their ongoing efforts to spread joy and smiles.
The project, Muskaan, which means “smile,” lived up to its name by providing a day of boundless happiness for the children. The event, confirmed on June 6, 2024, saw 1,052 children and 86 caretakers participating.
The Event was all headed by Team 2023-24 :Rtn. NileshRathi spearheaded the event as the Non-Medical Committee Chair of the Rotary Club of Nagpur Ishanyaalongwith 24 couple members as Project Directors & 7 couples as Project Co-ordinators. President 2023-24 Rtn. SharadTaori& Hon. Sec. CA ParagLashkare of 2023-24. On receiving this award Rtn. NileshRathi&Rotary AnnNidhiRathi thanked every club member without whom this grand record won’t have been possible. Rotary Club Of Nagpur Ishanya is the Largest club of District 3030 in Rotary & has almost 300 + couple members. Ishanya is an 24 years club & also has done many big service project in its entire 23 yrs.

Fun Planet, with its Water Park, Amusement Park, and Adventure Park, was the perfect venue for this grand event. Children enjoyed a variety of activities in a well-organized schedule that ensured everyone had a memorable time. The day was filled with engaging activities and amenities, including hot breakfast, a hearty lunch, and high tea. Club members organized group games with exciting prizes, and a lively 45-minute Zumba session had everyone dancing. Each child received a goodie bag with 26 delightful items, and a mesmerizing magic show captivated the children. Around 100+ members of the club participated in the event to make it a grand one. Ensuring the comfort and safety of the children, nine buses were arranged for their transportation to and from the venue. The event was a logistical marvel, ensuring that the children had a seamless and joyous experience from start to finish.
Muskaan has been a flagship project of the Rotary Club of Nagpur Ishanya for the past seven years, dedicated to bringing joy to underprivileged children. This year, by including specially-abled children, the project not only broke records but also expanded its reach and impact.
