During the monsoon season, there’s typically a rise in snake sightings, but a concerning event unfolded in the Amar Nagar area on Hingna Road, Nagpur. A house in this neighborhood was discovered to be sheltering not just one or two, but a total of 14 baby cobras. This finding has sparked significant concern among local residents.
The incident happened at Dilip Yadav’s house. When he discovered 14 baby cobras there, Yadav called snake rescuers Akash Meshram, Vikas Meshram, and Aditya Balbude immediately. They arrived promptly and safely caught all the venomous hatchlings.
There is concern that more hatchlings may be nearby, so homeowners are advised to remain vigilant. The snake rescuers safely relocated the captured cobras to a forested area. The presence of venomous cobras, particularly at night, understandably alarmed many, but the swift action of the rescuers brought reassurance to the residents.
