In the upcoming days, several long distance Mail/Express trains in the Bilaspur Zone are set to be affected due to scheduled maintenance work. The maintenance includes non-interlocking work on the electrified Bilaspur-Champa multiple line section near Akaltara, and the installation of auto signalling between Akaltara and Janjgirnaila.
The most significantly impacted train will be Train No. 18109 Tata Nagar-Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Itwari Express, which will remain cancelled until July 15. Similarly, Train No. 18110 Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Itwari-Tata Nagar Express will be cancelled from July 12 to 17.
Additionally, the following trains will also be affected:
- Train No. 18237 Korba-Amritsar Express will remain cancelled from July 12 to 16.
- Train No. 12251 Yeshwantpur-Korba Express is cancelled on July 12.
- Train No. 12252 Korba-Yeshwantpur Express will not run on July 14.
- Train No. 22648 Kochuveli-Korba Express is cancelled on July 11 (ex-Kochuveli).
- Train No. 22647 Korba-Kochuveli Express is cancelled on July 13.
Further disruptions include the cancellation of Train No. 12410 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Raigarh Express on July 10, 11, 13, and 15, while its pair, Train No. 12409 Raigarh-Hazrat Nizamuddin Express, will not operate on July 12, 13, 15, and 17.
Passengers are advised to plan their travel accordingly and check with railway authorities for alternative arrangements during this period of maintenance work.
