A new controversy has emerged involving the family of IAS officer Puja Khedkar. A video has surfaced showing Manorama Khedkar, Puja Khedkar’s mother, allegedly threatening farmers with a pistol in an attempt to forcibly seize their land. The incident occurred in Mulshi tehsil of Pune district, Maharashtra.
Reports indicate that Puja Khedkar’s father, Dilip Khedkar, a former government officer, amassed property worth crores during his tenure, including 25 acres of land in Mulshi tehsil. Allegedly, the Khedkar family sought to expand their holdings by coercing neighboring farmers into surrendering their land.
When the farmers resisted, Manorama Khedkar, accompanied by bouncers, reportedly confronted them with a pistol. Although this incident took place two months ago, local farmers claim their efforts to file a complaint at the police station were thwarted due to undue pressure.
The video footage clearly shows Manorama Khedkar wielding a pistol and threatening the farmers. This revelation has intensified the controversies surrounding IAS officer Puja Khedkar and her family, raising serious questions about abuse of power and influence.
The incident has sparked outrage among local farmers and activists, who are calling for a thorough investigation and appropriate action against those involved. As the video circulates widely, pressure on authorities to address these allegations continues to mount.
