The stretch of road from Chhatrapati Square to Narendranagar, previously closed for repairs to the railway underpass and tunnel, has reopened for two-way traffic as of Monday, July 22, 2024, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Traffic Shashikant Satav informed.
During the repair period, traffic was diverted to a single lane. With the completion of the work, both directions from Chhatrapati Square to Narendranagar and from Narendranagar to Chhatrapati Square, including the Narendranagar underpass bridge, are now fully operational for two-way traffic. This change is expected to reduce congestion and improve vehicle flow in the area.
