The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) is set to launch a specialized credit course focusing on High-Performance Thin-Layer Chromatography (HPTLC), commencing this Monday and concluding on July 27.
Approved by the Board of Studies, the course guarantees rigorous academic and professional standards, catering to the growing demand for expertise in HPTLC within pharmaceutical sciences. HPTLC is renowned for its precision, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in analyzing intricate mixtures, thereby playing a pivotal role in quality control, drug development, and research endeavors.
Participants will benefit from extensive training encompassing theoretical foundations and practical applications utilizing cutting-edge equipment. Key topics covered include fundamental principles of HPTLC, sample preparation techniques, method development strategies, and interpretation of analytical data.
Dr. Prashant Puranik, Head of the Department, along with course coordinators Dr. Prakash Itankar and Dr. Satyendra Prasad, highlighted the course’s significance in enhancing analytical skills crucial for pharmaceutical professionals.
