As a tribute to the supreme sacrifice made by armed forces personnel from various units and regiments during the historic Kargil War, a wreath-laying ceremony was organized at the War Memorial of Kamptee Military Station under the aegis of HQ Uttar Maharashtra and Gujarat Sub Area to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas.
General Officer Commanding Uttar Maharashtra & Gujarat Sub Area, Major General SK Vidyarthi AVSM, SM, was the chief guest at the solemn parade. The parade was attended by all units of the military station, as well as a large number of ex-servicemen and veterans.
