A married woman died while her brother sustained minor injuries after they were hit by a recklessly driven truck near Haldirams in Besa under Beltarodi Police Station on Saturday.
According to police sources, the woman and her brother were traveling on Besa Road. At around 12:30 pm, when they were crossing the Haldirams outlet, they were hit by a truck. Due to the impact, the biker lost balance, and the woman fell on the road and was crushed under the rear wheel of the truck.
Beltarodi Police have registered a case and are probing further.
