Following Air India, Vistara and IndiGo airlines have cancelled all their flights to Dhaka in view of the situation in Bangladesh. The airlines have taken this step in view of the situation in Dhaka.
The country’s major airline companies Vistara, Air India and Indigo have cancelled their flights to and from Dhaka. Vistara has cancelled flights to Dhaka today, while Air India and IndiGo cancelled their flights late last evening.
A Vistara official said that the airline’s flights used to go from Mumbai to Dhaka daily and from Delhi to Dhaka three days a week. But given the current situation there, Vistara has cancelled its flights for the time being. Earlier, Vistara operated its flight from Mumbai on Monday. Air India and IndiGo had already cancelled their flights.
It is worth mentioning that after the violence against the reservation policy in Bangladesh reached its peak, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has resigned from the post of Prime Minister and fled the country. She is currently in India.
