The construction of the 2.5 km flyover from Wadi Thana to Naka No 10 on Amravati Road is facing major delays, even though the deadline for completing the bridge span at Wadi T Point passed three months ago. The ramps on both sides of the bridge are still not concreted, despite earlier assurances that traffic would begin flowing by July. Unfortunately, the rainy season has further slowed progress.
After the installation of the high-tension 132 KV line at Hingna T Point in April, the span work was completed. However, the next phase, which involved concreting the landings on both sides, has been delayed, causing the project to be postponed.
Currently, concreting work on the bridge ramp in front of the Gurudwara is being done whenever the rains let up.
Additionally, the construction of another 2.9 km bridge from the RTO to the University Campus is progressing slowly.
Due to these delays, the project has requested a one-year extension.
