The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has expressed grave concern over the recent incidents of violence against Hindus, Buddhists, and other minority communities in Bangladesh.
The targeted killings, looting, arson, and crimes against women, as well as attacks on temples and other places of worship, are unacceptable and highly condemnable, said RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale in a press release on Friday.
The RSS expects the government of Bangladesh to take immediate and strict action to put an end to these atrocities and ensure the safety and protection of the victims. It also calls upon the international community and all political parties in India to show their solidarity with the persecuted communities in Bangladesh.
The RSS appeals to the Indian government, which has been playing a friendly role in the situation in Bangladesh, to use all its resources to safeguard the lives and dignity of the Hindu, Buddhist, and other minority populations in Bangladesh.
