A Mega Blood, Eye, and Organ Donation Camp was organized today at Shivaji Nagar Sabhagruh, Nagpur, drawing significant participation and support from the local community.
The event was a collaborative effort of Fitness 365 Days, Inner Wheel Club, RSS Sangha, and DME, and featured blood donation, eye donation, and organ donation drives, alongside free eye and blood check-ups. Members of the “Fitness 365 Days” Yoga Group played a crucial role in the event’s success, dedicating their time and effort to ensure smooth operations and maximum outreach.
Their hard work resulted in a significant turnout, with many donors coming forward to contribute to these life-saving causes. Prominent figures such as Sanjay Ghate, Dr. Rama Fuke, Bipin Rathi, Sanjay Kate, Ravi Sangit Rao, Nitin Agrawal, and Anushka Fuke were actively involved in the event, providing leadership and support. Their contributions were essential in coordinating the various aspects of the camp. Kanchanatai Gadkari, who attended as the Chief Guest, praised the organizers and volunteers for their dedication and the impact of the event. She highlighted the importance of such initiatives in saving lives and improving health outcomes in the community.
Blood donations were facilitated by Hedgewar and Lata Mangeshkar Blood Banks, ensuring that the collected blood would be efficiently utilized for those in need. Organ donation services were managed by GMC Nagpur and Mohan Foundation, while Madhav Netralya was responsible for the eye donation drive. The camp was a resounding success, reflecting the spirit of community service and compassion in Nagpur.
