The people of Nagpur who have been suffering due to extreme heat for last two days, got relief from the stormy rain on Monday morning. High winds and equally heavy rains flooded the roads in the city.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had predicted that stormy rain on Monday. Accordingly, the sky was crowded with clouds. Heavy rain started around 10 am. A strong wind was blowing along with it. Due to this, the speed and intensity of rain was felt more. Just 20 minutes of rain caused puddles on the road. The people who came out in the morning for various works, were greatly disturbed by the rain.
